SUPERVISION
Supervision for clinicians is important to the development and maintenance of good therapeutic practice. Broadly speaking, it encompasses ongoing to education, evaluation, coaching and mentoring.
Supervision provides a place where counsellors and other clinicians can reflect and critically analyse their own approach to work in a safe space. At ECW, we believe in the importance of supervision as a tool for accountability, to prevent stress and burnout, and to link knowledge to practice in order to develop ones skills.
Supervision is typically one to one and runs for 60 minutes in a setting convenient to you - face to face or via the telephone. Wayne is an Accredited Clinical Supervision who's training is recognised by the Australia Counselling Association (ACA) and Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA).
